Conservation standard uses specialist glass and has even more barriers built into the frame, of which there is a choice of 2,000 mouldings to choose from, which prevent deterioration in artwork.
Museum standard is for extreme value items such as rare one-off artworks

The Framing Process
The pictures to the right and below show some of the processes in creating fine frames for your pictures, from cutting the moulding, through pinning everything together, to the final polishing.
The image below left show David with a finished frame, in front of part of his extensive range of mouldings and, bellow, the finished picture is wrapped and stored for you

Working to very high standards he provides a bespoke service for clients. He discusses with them what sort of setting they will hang the picture, helps them choose mouldings and mountboard that complement the artworks and gives them definite dates when they can collect their pictures.
